transfer games from a TI-84 to a TI-83 graphing calculate

You need to install the software.
A CD should of came with your calculator.
Install that, plug in you TI to the PC using the cord.
A window should come up by microsoft saying if you want to install it.
Install it. it may take a few minutes.
Onces installed download your game.
The extension should be ".8xp"

Just use the cord that should have come with the calculator. After that, it's simple. Programs between both calculators are completely compatible.


Plug the cord into both of the calculators, On both the calculators, press "2nd" then "link".
On the TI-84, go to "All -" (All minus), and scroll down and choose the program you want to send.
it's selected, go over to "receive" on the TI-83, and press enter, then go over to "transmit" on the TI-84, and press enter.
now it works.

Click on File Archives, Click "access our archives via the web"
click 84plus click either asm, basic, or flash
Click Games, download the game onto your computer

DIRECTIONS TO PUT THE GAME ON YOUR CALCulator
Make sure you have TI Connect on your computer
Unzip the file you downloaded from ticalc.org
Right click the game and click "Send to TI Device"

do a full hard reset by deleting everything off except sys files and operating sys. there should be a button on the back of the calc. if not remove the battery and leave for about 15 minutes
